While I’m just starting out on Substack, this is hardly my first rodeo with publishing on the interwebz. I’ve written health-related articles for several different websites under various names, blog posts on my fiction website, and some of you may remember me as a prolific Twitterer for about a decade. Unfortunately, I was one of those renegade writers who loved to tempt the censors with juicy stats, graphs, and charts about verboten topics. At one point, I had amassed close to 10K followers just from cranking out facts and numbers about economics, crime, and immigration. But when I started countering the official narrative about COVID and election anomalies, well, apparently, I went too far:
@WriterRomana was officially de-personed.
I now post on Gab & GETTR, but all of those sites (FB & Twitter included) cater to the modern short-attention-span theater. I’m happy to now have a platform that can handle difficult concepts, complex calculations, detailed graphics, and cerebral humor.
Please subscribe if you want to follow my posts here; for now, I’m not charging anything, so what’s the harm?
